Two weeks ago, I was golfing in Calgary. The leaves were still mostly on the trees and they were mostly green. The grass was alive and the greens were soft at the golf course because the ground was still holding onto some of the summer heat. Fast forward to today and we have had snow off and on for 12 days or so and I picked up my clubs from the golf course a few days ago. It is always sad to see my clubs leaning against the wall in the garage because when they are idle, the snow shovel is not. What a perfect time to bug out.
We board a plane in a few hours and my next posting will be from about one degree north of the equator and 14 hours ahead of Calgary time. I will update you from Singapore and let you in on some of the details of our Second Sojourn in Southeast Asia. Until then, the Boss and I will see how well Air Canada and Singapore Airlines can handle the task of getting us out of winter.
