Gym and his trusty traveling companion spent most of this past October knocking about the scenic western states of America again. You may recall that at the beginning of 2023, they had a wonderful time visiting many amazing landmarks, as they migrated down the Western Cordillera from Alberta to Nevada and back again. That journey had only wet their appetites for more.
During this most recent outing, Gym and Mrs. Gym set their sights on another epic to-see list:
1. Yellowstone National Park, the oldest national park in the world;
2. Zion National Park, everyone that has been there raves about it;
3. St. George, Utah, a potential snowbird retreat;
4. Marina Del Rey, they had to check out that LA vibe; and,
5. Allegiant Stadium, a return to the home of the Raiders.
At time of writing, all of these goals were fully met and will be covered in subsequent posts.
In this adventure, Gym would like to thank his navigators, Mrs. Gym and Siri. These two excellent helpers rarely had a difference of opinion. When there was a disagreement, Gym always deferred to Mrs. Gym. He has always followed the old axiom, "happy wife - happy life".
